Two common tip questions: "why don't my tips show?" and "how do I fix a wrong tip amount?"
Tips missing from a report you just printed
Tip data takes a couple of minutes to sync to the server. If tips were added right before printing, they won't appear yet.
- Wait a few minutes and print again — you can confirm syncing is finished in the bottom left of the login screen ("all orders sent to server").
- Or turn on the Local Data slider before printing to see tips instantly (note: local data isn't a complete report for full checkout).
Wrong tip amount entered (tip adjustments)
If a tip was entered incorrectly or missed before batching, we can submit a tip adjustment with the processor:
- Send us the order number(s) and correct tip amount(s) — photos of the receipts work great.
- We submit the adjustment to the processor. Be aware adjustments can take up to 14 days to process and deposit.
Best practice
Enter tips the same day, before end of day runs. Once cards batch overnight, changes require the adjustment process above.
