When you run out of something, mark it unavailable so it stops selling in-store and online.
On the POS
- From the POS dashboard, tap Inventory.
- Scroll or use the search field to find the item, then tap Submit.
- Tap the checkmark/86 Availability option for that item and confirm.
Alternatively: use the Menu/Product search tool, select the product, tap the 86 Availability button, and save.
Bringing items back
Reverse the same steps when the item is back in stock. To clear ALL out-of-stock flags at once: on the main POS go to Dashboard > Product Setup > Reset Balances (note — this clears every 86'd item, so you may need to re-86 some).
Online ordering and modifiers
86'ing on the POS covers most cases, but modifier options (e.g., a specific flavor) and some online-ordering menus are managed in the backend. If an item still shows online after you 86 it, or you need a modifier hidden, contact us — we'll update Revel and the online ordering menus and confirm when it's live.
