If your POS app (Revel or similar) freezes, lags, or behaves strangely, force-closing the app fixes most issues.
Force close the app
- From the bottom of the screen, swipe up to the center and pause briefly until the App Switcher appears.
- Swipe left/right to find the POS app.
- Swipe up on the app's preview to close it.
- Reopen the app from the home screen.
If that doesn't fix it, reboot the iPad
- Hold the top button and either volume button until "slide to power off" appears.
- Slide to power off, wait 10 seconds, then hold the top button to power back on.

App won't connect after restarting?
- Go to iPad Settings, scroll to the POS app in the left column, and make sure the Local Network toggle is ON.
- In Settings > WiFi, verify the iPad is on the correct store network.
If the problem persists, contact support — we can often see the station status remotely.
